Istrice Configurator is a simple way to configure all aspect of the
ISTRICE environment. It require KDE_3.x or QT_3.x and the ISTRICE base
libraries.
To start the
program from a shell use:
#
istriceConfigurator
Main window:
Main window is subdivided in 3 tabs:
NOTE:
Use the SAVE button to save the
configuration before exit to commit changes.
Basic Configuration

Algorithm
|
The algorithm used for job distribution
(TASK_BALANCED,MAX_POWER,BALANCED).

Socket
|
The listen socket on Master Server (SLS use this socket for
the first connection).
|
Overload
|
Maximum overload a SLS can be loaded with. |
Remark
|
Custom text field.
|
To add new SLS click the "add"
button in "Allowed SLS" list.
To delete a SLS select the choosen row in the SLS list and click the "delete" botton.

| Host |
Hostname (not ip address) of the computer that can
register a SLS, These host will be used to distribuite the compilation.

| Max Tasks |
Maximum simultaneous compilation tasks |
| Nice |
Nice of compilation process
(NORMAL,HI,LOW).This field control the "priority" of compilation
process.
NORMAL : Compiler is invoked with the same priority of other process.
HI : Compiler is invoked with
hight priority. (warning : this setting use hight system resource)
LOW : Compiler is invoked with low priority.

To add new allowed client click the "add"
button in "Allowed Clients"
list.
To delete a client select the choosen row in the client list and click
the "delete" botton.

Enable or Disable the Istrice Admin interface.
If this interface is enabled you can use istriceConsole to monitor runtime
